Hello Friend!
As women, we know our souls get tired and they can grow weary. We can go through the motions but not feel fully alive. We can be present, but not fully awake.
In Psalm 57, David declared, “Awake my soul” from a cave with trials surrounding him and his future uncertain. Even still, he commanded his soul to wake up! Not because everything was fine, but because God was present, God was moving, and he refused to miss it.
This year, we are not gathering just to be refreshed. We want to be so undone by the presence of God that we cannot go back to who we were. Women so saturated in His goodness, mercy, and grace that we are fully awake to His presence, His power, the fullness of life that He has invited us into.
We will worship together, sit under powerful preaching, linger in God’s presence, enjoy good food and friends and yes…. laugh harder than we have in a long time. So, let’s gather believing that we will leave different to when we arrived. More awake to God and more alive to our purpose.
