What ages is Kindreds Conference for?
Kindreds Conference is for women middle school aged or older. From young to old – women of all ages are welcome. However, Kindreds conference is not best suited for children. There will be no childcare available for elementary, preschool and toddlers.
Can I bring my baby with me?
Your baby is welcome at Kindreds Conference. There will be a mother’s room available for you throughout the conference where you and your baby (newborn – one year) can relax, nurse, etc. Please use as needed.
Where do I fly into?
The best airport to fly into is the Kansas City International Airport (MCI) which is approximately a forty minute drive from the conference venue.
Where should I stay?
You can stay at any hotel in driving distance from Hope Chapel Olathe, 12480 S. Black Bob Road, Olathe, KS. 66062. However we recommend the Courtyard by Marriott Kansas City Olathe. This hotel is less than a 5 minute drive from the conference venue.
I’m from out of town? What should I know about Kansas City?
While you can just stay the Friday night of conference, we encourage you to stay longer! The KC metro is a perfect weekend getaway! Visitkc.com is a great site to visit to get some ideas of places to explore before or after the conference if you can stay a few extra days. If you are in town Sunday morning, you are invited to worship at Hope Chapel. Service times and locations can be found at visithopechapel.com
How long is conference each day?
Registration begins at 5:30pm on Friday, February 27th and evening session begins at 7:00pm. Doors open at 8:30am on Saturday, February 28th and we will wrap up by 5:00pm that day. We encourage you to show up a little bit early to get your seat, take some fun pictures with the beautiful decor and visit the conference merchandise and speaker tables. You don’t want to miss the opening moment of conference!
What if I am coming alone?
We encourage you to invite a few friends to join you, but if you can’t talk them into this year don’t worry. When you show up for registration, please let any of the Kindreds serve team members know that you are here alone, and we will help introduce you to some friends to sit with and enjoy the conference alongside.
What is included in my conference ticket?
Your conference ticket includes everything – a line-up of great speakers, conference materials, snacks, treats, LUNCH SATURDAY and surprises along the way! While the ticket price doesn’t cover the cost of putting on Kindreds conference, it helps make it possible. If you are not able to afford a ticket, please reach out to hello@wearekindreds.com to inquire about a full or partial scholarship ticket made possible by generous women who give extra in addition to their ticket cost so that others can attend as well!
